Cold Form Structures
Cold Form Structures
Cold form structures are generally made from light gauge steel structures. Light gauge steel members are made by folding galvanized steel plates. Those are used extensively in industrial buildings as secondary load-carrying members such as wall purlin and wall girts.
With advancements in technology, these members are also used as primary load-carrying members. However, due to their large flat width to thickness ratios, cold-formed steel members are inherently susceptible to local and global buckling modes, resulting in a complex design and optimization process for cold-form steel structures.
Analysis and Design
All design and details are based on I.S. 801:1975. We do analysis and modeling in the latest structural designing software. After getting a result from the software, we design the structure. We have our in-house developed spreadsheet for designing. This type of structure is generally used for up to G+1 structures. Following are the different designs we are doing for any structure.

True elements of surprise, they break up the compositional layout, creating a stylistic point of interest, and interrupting the continuous effect of the fabric covering, visually lightening the volume at the rear. A solution designed to optimise both look and form, created with the know-how about design and the savoir-faire associated with fine tailoring that have always distinguished the Minotti brand.
